The purpose of these camps is to build physical literacy through great coaching, an engaging environment, and a variety of stimuli. There is no doubt that athleticism builds self-confidence and prepares children for life`s challenges as well as an overall positive experience in physical activity. Missing the window for physical literacy will inhibit the ability to optimize skills and lessen the chance of healthy living to adulthood. Sports Specialization at an early age limits kids from exposure to new activities with different learning scenarios acquiring new skills. Using the Collingwood trail system campers discover all Collingwood has to offer. A wide variety of activities taught by experts in their field will be offered throughout the week. You must have a functioning bike and be a proficient rider to attend camp.
