As a former provincial ski team athlete, Ben spent countless hours working with and learning from the amazing team at Active Life. It was there that Ben first realized he had a passion for promoting health across the lifespan. This led to the pursuit of a Bachelor of Human Kinetics, specializing in clinical exercise physiology from the University of British Columbia.
Ben is a huge believer in the value of preventative medicine and the idea that there is no right time to find your passion for health and exercise. So, whether you are a young athlete with dreams of competing on the world stage or someone who is just starting to incorporate physical activity into their routine, Ben is excited to be able to help you achieve your personal goals. In addition to his work at Active Life, Ben is an alpine race coach at Osler Bluff Ski Club and a medical research assistant at the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital.
When he isn’t coaching or at the hospital, you are likely to find Ben either running or riding his bike through the forest at Three Stage.
