Andy Baird

    Andrew is a registered member of the “College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncturists of Ontario” (CTCMPAO) and has been practicing in Ontario for over 20 years with extensive experience at his clinic beside the Brampton Memorial Hospital.

    He brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to ALC addressing a diverse range of health concerns. His expertise with Acupuncture spans the fields of low back pain, sciatic pain, sports injuries, migraine relief, anxiety and depression management, weight loss support, and the holistic treatment of conditions such as fertility issues, neck and upper back pain, and arthritis and more. His decades of experience reflect a deep understanding of Acupuncture’s potential to promote healing and improve overall health. He plans to collaborate with the team at ALC to further enrich our commitment to offering integrative and client centered healthcare.

    Andrew also finds time to teach “Summer and Winter Survival Skills” and “Foraging for Edible Wilds” at Appleby College in Oakville, Upper Canada College in Toronto and Taylor Statten Camps on Canoe Lake Algonquin Park – as well as shares this passion with various schools and camps in Ontario on a volunteer basis.

    During his spare time, you’ll find him mountain biking, snowboarding, skiing, hiking, camping and canoe tripping….often in the Temagami/Northern Ontario area with Marilyn and his three kids.  Andrew‘s oldest daughter, Jasmine Baird is an Olympic snowboarder in both Slopestyle and Big Air events and competed in the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and continues to compete in World Cup contests around the world.
