September Baseline Concussion Testing.
Protect Your Athlete Before the Season Begins.

As hockey and ski season approaches, now is the ideal time to complete your athlete’s Baseline Concussion Assessment.

Hockey and skiing demand much more than speed and strength. Athletes are constantly processing their environment, reacting to rapidly changing situations, maintaining control and making split-second decisions, often while moving at high speeds and under fatigue.

A concussion can affect the brain functions athletes rely on to perform these tasks safely and effectively. Having a preseason baseline provides an objective measure of your athlete’s individual brain function before an injury occurs, giving clinicians valuable data for comparison if a concussion happens during the season.

Rather than relying on symptoms alone, baseline data can help support more informed concussion assessment and safer, data-driven return-to-play decisions.

The Institute of Science, Health and Performance (ISHPlabs) provides comprehensive baseline testing, while ActiveLife’s clinical team can guide athletes through every stage of concussion recovery and safely return them to sport if an injury occurs. Together, we provide a complete concussion management pathway, giving athletes, parents, and coaches peace of mind throughout the season.
