Apex Play – Golf and Multisport Simulator

Enjoy a round of golf at Collingwood’s newest indoor sport and recreation facility. Boasting state of the art Full Swing technology, there’s something for everyone at Apex Play. Play a round of 18 with some friends at some of the most popular golf courses around the world or work on tweaking your swing at the driving range. The multisport feature provides athletes an opportunity to work on skill development in a controlled environment or for parents to bring the kids in on a rainy day to enjoy some fun, recreational games.

  • Ages 12 and under require adult supervision
  • Maximum of 4 participants 13+
  • Maximum of 6 participants for groups with adult supervision ie. 4 youth and 2 adults
  • Hours of operation 24 hours/day, 7 days/week
  • Indoor washrooms are only available Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. Please use the front door of Active Life. Washrooms are immediately when you walk in. 
  • Portable washrooms are available after hours
  • No alcoholic beverages are allowed in the facility – ZERO TOLERANCE

Titleist Performance Institute Assessments

Looking for ways to improve your golf swing? Feel like you have physical limitations that are not allowing for those improvements? Using a battery of exercises, Coach Mike can take you through a TPI movement screening to find out exactly where those limitations are. The 5 main areas of focus are: Core control, lower and upper body disassociation, maintaining posture and setting/releasing the club. We then use those screening results to come up with a program that specifically targets your capabilities. The program is designed to improve your mobility and strength in the areas required for you to improve your swing and keep playing pain free.

Fit Fore Golf

The Fit Fore Golf fitness course is led by our TPI certified trainer, Coach Mike. The course is designed to target the mobility, strength and power required to enhance the efficiency of your swing and keep you playing all season long, pain and injury free. Specific areas to work on include upper torso rotational mobility, back and core strength, shoulder and hip mobility and stability and rotational power production. All ages are welcome as the exercises programmed can be modified to accommodate all individual capabilities.
